Lighter than air, since the dawn of flight

Gas balloons fly on hydrogen or helium — no burner, no flame, just the steady lift of a gas lighter than air. They can stay aloft for days and drift hundreds of miles, riding the wind in near silence. It is the oldest form of human flight, and still the purest.
The quiet flight
No burner roar — just hours of silent drift with the wind, moving exactly as fast as the air around you.
Distance & duration
Gas balloons fly farther and longer than any hot-air balloon, crossing whole regions on a single envelope of gas.
A living tradition
From the Gordon Bennett races to today's aeronauts, gas ballooning carries more than two centuries of flying heritage.
